New York-based i-Lighter Inc. (www.i-lighter.com) says its namesake software helps users "highlight" digital content, such as text, tables, images, and more, to be stored securely online for later access. The stored information can be viewed from any computer with an active internet connection. Users can insert text or notes into highlighted content during the selection process, or after retrieval.

The i-Lighter program lets users forward information in various formats and supports tagging, folder sharing, e-mailing, and blogging.
